Very Good. No Jacket. 287 pages (complete). A gentlemanly copy. Half leather. The leathered corners and spine have wear and scuffing. The back top corner has been knocked during storage. Gilt titling and decoration on the spine (benign and a little worn). The marbled boards are amiable. They have some wear about the edges, some scuffing, some handling and storage marks. The spine and boards are healthy, steady. The contents are pleasing. The title page has a previous owner signature. There are occasional flurries of shallow foxing. In general, and by far, the contents are clean and clear, convivial and certain, confident and competent. fk.
