There is something about getting advice on a book page that is more powerful than the advice of friends. Dr. Laura uses her brutal honesty to bring common sense to many intelligent yet oh so lost women.
When I read this book, I saw what an idiot I had been! All of my excuses were in almost every chapter and this book was a wake-up call to stop tolerating nonsense and to become the woman I've always desired to be.
I highly recommend this book not only for more experienced and seasoned women, but also for younger women in order to prevent some of the ridiculous choices that we women can make.
And overall, this book was enjoyable and very funny :)

Man, Have I Been Stupid!
I'm not a huge fan of Dr. Schlessinger, but the advice she gives in this book is right on the money. I wish I would have read this book years ago. This is good solid advice. Take it!
