One of the first books I read about modern war, in 1988. Yup, read it when I was a pool lifeguard in Eatonton NJ. Battle sequences were fast paced, didn't really get bogged down like some war books can. Granted, this was 1988 so I don't know if the equipment would be considered 'outdated' by today's standards. However, it did give good descriptions of the M1A1 battle tank.
