Live recordings lack the dynamics of studio sessions, and many can only appreciate a live recording if they were at the taping, and that doesn't happen often. Unlike most soul groups who cut live albums, Tavares don't digress from their material -- you won't find any attempts at MOR, pop, or Broadway show tunes.
