If I'd know about this book, I wouldn't have taken a hands-on beginning class at Stitches West 2020. After warping your loom, Glasbrook steps you, technique by technique through sampler #1 with outstanding photos. Subsequent samplers introduce a few other techniques, such as circles. There is even a simple pattern for weaving sideways to the pattern, preferred for long, smooth lines. The second part of the book is a gallery of Glasbrook's tapestry work that is truly inspiring. For each, she shares something of her materials and approaches. What this book doesn't provide is the intermediate techniques and materials that would lead a learner from the basics to anything approaching one of Glasbrook's own works. But, for a beginner, this book is excellent.
