I have been sometime in getting this book. I have been a Zane Grey fan for more than 40 years, and in just this year have I decided to purchase his "fishing" books. I always knew they would be good and well worth reading, even though I am not a fisherman at all. Yet it is Zane Grey, and the "fishing" books read like his other work--full of magnificent description of flora and fauna, and with plenty of action and adventure to keep one interested. This book is also filled with plenty of pictures and illustrations to keep you informed as you read the text. Zane Grey loved being the first at anything; going where no one had gone before; and through his writing we can go along with him as he battles gigantic swordfish, striped marlin, or fly fish for trout in the mountain streams of New Zealand. It did not matter what fish Zane Grey was catching, as it was the catching which was important to him. If you are in to fishing, or would just love to read about adventure and travel then this book is for you.
