Allein bei eindringlicher und an dauernder Besch???ftigung mit meinem Vorwurf erwies es sich als notwendig, noch eine Reihe anderer Quellen jenes Kreuzzuges, vor allen das Tagebuch des Tageno, die Chronik des Magnus von Reichersberg und die Historie peregrinorum eines Unbekannten zur Vergleichung heran zuziehen, so dass aus einer Untersuchuhg deren drei wurden und es mir bei deren Umfang ratlicher erschien, sie in Buchform zu ver???ffentlichen, nachdem Herr Prof. Bresslau, dem ich an dieser Stelle fur sein freundliches Interesse an dem Fortgang dieser Arbeit danke, mich auf mein An suchen von meinen Verpflichtungen gegen das 'neue Archiv' losgezahlt hatte.
