First printed in 1476 by William Caxton, now in this delightful limited edition of 265, copy no 167. Small, slim book in brown buckram boards. Lovely crisp watermarked paper all clean and neat in DJ. Mediaeval English text printed opposite the fine translation into modern English by Nicholas Orme. Introduction by Lotte Hellinga. Beautifully produced, and the text's admonitory advice all stands absolutely good today. i.e. Don't pick your teeth with your knife, stuff your mouth with food, or shout and pull faces and make a mess.
