I have been doing Tai chi'i for around four years with some background in other mind/body disciplines and find this book very relevant and powerful. Many of the aspects of the tradition are not taught in the teaching situation I follow and I find that this book rounds out in a powerful way my ability to relate to practice. I would not recommend it to complete beginners with no other background but to clarify and expand understanding for intermediate and maybe advanced students it is invaluable.
