This budget CD release from LaserLight does not give recording dates but the ten selections (totalling only around 36 minutes of music) mostly are from the 1940s. Such performers as Claude Thornhill ("Snowfall"), Gene Krupa, Larry Clinton, Jack Teagarden, Bob Crosby, the Glenn Miller Army Air Force Orchestra (playing a Christmas medley), Les Brown and even Guy Lombardo are all heard in fine form.
