History, Intrigue, Faith, Romance, Danger on the high seas??..these are some of the words that describe ?Surrender the Dawn?. MaryLu Tyndall has a way of adding her own characters to a point in time of actual history. You?d swear that those characters were a part of history themselves. This novel finishes up the ?Surrender to Destiny? series. After reading this novel, I found myself a bit sad, because I knew that I would not be able to continue to read about each character?s lives. I will always wonder ?Where are they now?? That is how well MaryLu wrote these novels. She introduces such amazing people to us, that they become our friends. Each of us has a ?Destiny? in this life and we need to figure out exactly what it is. I would like to personally thank MaryLu Tyndall for helping me to realize that I , too, have a purpose in this life; a Destiny set forth by God. I pray that each person who reads these novels is as ?touched? by them as I have been.

Full of Action!
This is a great historical fiction romance. It's full of action. Tyndall does a great job of incorporating American history in this novel. It is set during the war of 1814. Not only do you get the romance of the characters, but also the hardships of the war.

Wonderful Romance and Swashbuckling Sweetness
Once again, MaryLu Tyndall has proven her place in the literary world. Set during the War of 1812, she brilliantly weaves a beautifully touching romance amid true historical facts and figures. If you love the banter of Pride and Prejudice you will love reading about Cassandra and Luke. The narrative is dramatic, and flows so smoothly that you?ll be hooked immediately and won?t put it down ?til the end.
