"This delightful book is not only great fun to read, but makes most interesting and intelligent suggestions about the reality and work of this particular branch of the nature world. It can help us open our minds to fascinating dimensions that do exist on the planet."--Dorothy MacLean, co-founder of Findhorn and author, "To Hear the Angels Sing: An Odyssey of Co-creation with the Devic Kingdom."

I wanted to add a MAYBE to the yes/no "recommendation to a friend" above. I wasn't enamored with the book at all. I didn't find it funny, instead I found it preachy and uncomfortable. I guess I have a different idea of funny... I think of it more as a joyous thing, not enjoying another's cold wet misery. I guess I was just not the target audience.
It is odd that I didn't like it, because I am rather a natural believer in such things. My husband read it and didn't see what I was complaining about <shrug> so my review may not reflect most peoples reaction to the book.

Thoroughly Enjoyable Read
Tanis Helliwell is as Pixie-ish as the characters of whom she writes. She is the Doreen Virtue of the world of Elementals, and has a warm, humorous and flowing style of writing. While it is a quick read the story of her encounters are enlightening and heart warming. She manages to expertly get the message of respect for Mother Earth across without pointing the all-knowing accusatory finger at we the readers. A most enjoyable journey into fantasy land turned real.
