A detailed index is provided and this shows the corporate name of hundreds of railroads, names of cities, and the names of certain major players in the expansion of street railroads. Entries are given for cars and equipment, motors and controllers, car builders, strikes, statistics, and so on. It includes most of the books issued by major publishers, as well as dissertations and federal government documents.
