Hull has explored Strasberg's 'Method" clearly and concisely; she also walks through many useful exercises that Strasberg developed. Her explanations of sense and affective memory are especially useful.
There are times when I felt Hull's personal presence too stifling, as if to say, "Look at all the important actors and directors I've known!." However, that bit of self service does not detract from the value of the discussion of Method once it's untangled from the personal adulation of the author by the author.
I recommend this to any director or actor wanting a clear guide to Strasberg's contribution to theater.
