Mary Lindell was an extraordinary secret agent operating in France in both the First and Second World Wars. She was the organizerof a system of escape routes for Allied soldiers and airmen to find their way back the Britain. Eventually betrayed by French collaborators, she was imrpisoned in Ravensbruck camp, but survived to return to England after the camp was liberated.
