This book is comprised of three volumes issued as one by the publisher ("Three books in one"); all appear to have been edited by Marshall Everett, and the final book on South Africa has a copyright date of 1900. Each book has its own title page in this volume. The book is illustrated with half tone photographs, and other b&w illustrations and maps and some color photographs. The pages are age toned, but clean and bright, and the covers are in unusually nice condition given the size of the book. This is nice clean, tight and unmarked book. Original red cloth covers with gilt and black lettering and a color pictorial insert on front (after a painting by Emperor William II of Germany). Probably as nice a copy as you will find.; B&W & Color Illustrations; 8vo, 8"-9" tall; 916 pages.
