Fair. London: Henry Colburn, 1846. First edition, 1846. Account of travel in mid eighteenth century Russia. Maroon cloth, 274 + 276 pages. Ex-library with all expected markings and then some, including some perforations to the upper margins of a few pages within the books. Covers edgeworn with fraying to the corners and spine ends, some light colored spots to the first volume, a bit of a lean to both volumes, especially the first, which has a cracked front hinge and broken binding with some gatherings of pages detached but present. The rear hinges of the second volume is also cracked, but the binding is sound with no loosened pages. Pages are lightly age-toned but clean with a couple of very minor ink smudges and a margin chip to one leaf. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair. 12mo-over 6¾"-7¾" tall.
