There's also the brilliant lead track itself, with its inspiring, charging chorus and gentle, almost but not quite diffident chorus -- there are audible echoes of the Pixies in the arrangement, but Garageland sugars the pill just enough. From Come Back Special itself, "Struck" and "What Will You Do?" take a bow, the latter having an attractive motorik-styled propulsion to it. The original Beelines to Heaven single contributes the sweet chime and crunch of "Bus Stops" and the more fried rumble "Cut It Out."
