Seller's Description:
Good. Folio, 228pp., illustrated. A good copy in the publisher's illustrated wraps. Large tear to the front wrap with a crude tape repair. The tear also affects the first internal leaf, though there is no loss to contents. A scarce, well-ilustrated, comprehensive history of Niagara County, home to the famous falls and a large stretch of the Erie Canal. There is a laid-in photographic illustration, printed on cardstock, entitled "Niagara County Pioneers." The figures in the image all appear to be over 80 years old, thus probably some of the early settlers in the area. We are unsure if this image is integral to the text, though it certainly appears to be. A nice volume of local history.
