An effort has been made in this book to study the effect of slab down milling process parameters on surface integrity of HSLA (ASTM A572 Grade 50). Experiments were performed as per Taguchi L18 orthogonal array for different combinations of machining parameters to collect data which were subsequently statistically analysed to optimize multi-performance characteristics.
