Thin Book - 7 Hot Process Recipes - 32 pages
This book needs an introduction page to explain some basics about soap making. For example, you must use distilled water (in the first recipe, it states use water); the cooking time will vary depending on the size of your crock pot and the rate at which it heats up, etc.
I haven't tried the recipes yet so the recipes may be good. Recipe 4 - "Swirl Colorful Hot Process Soap Recipe" states to cook the soap in a crock pot and then on page 20, it states that after cooking, to place the soap batter in a mold and place it into an oven. I have never seen this procedure in hot process soap, usually the soap is made in the crock pot and the soap batter is placed into a mold. The soap sits in the mold for 24 hours, I've never seen a recipe that calls for placing a mold into an oven. Perhaps, an explanation of this process may help.
Someone needs to proof read this book for spelling errors, there are a few words spelled incorrectly through-out it.
Thank you.
