Seller's Description:
Very Good. (8&1/2 inches x 11&1/2 inches) Folio, paperback original. Clean, sound, well cared for copy of collection of Mark Perry's (frontman for Alternative TV, UK noise punk band) punk zine that blaised the path for pretty much the entire do-it-yourself fanzine culture that was to storm the world for several decades to follow. If fanzine culture did not exactly take the world by revolution one paper cut at a time, it was not for lack of effort. And it is not exaggeration to claim it all started with Sniffin Glue. Displayed entirely via cheaply thrown together 10 issues reproduced here in this beautiful volume starting at page 137. The first 136 pages are filled with interviews, analysis and professionally reproduced photography of a quality far above par of anything you can expect to find within the pages of Sniffin' Glue. I would call this collection necessary, but that is obviously not the case. It should be necessary, and is certainly scarce.
