I am planning a ski vacation this November/December in Colorado, which is the purpose I bought this book. I should probably wait therefore until I get back home and decide how effective the book was in helping me prepare for the trip. That said, while the book stressed the need for conditioning, it did not list the specific exercises that anyone should do in order to get ready for skiing. Moreover, the book is somewhat outdated. Although there is a reference to the death of Sonny Bono, I have had excellent luck with the fabrics that the author does not like for skiing. (I first used them for skiing and then for cold weather in my home town with much success).
