Seller's Description:
Near fine in near fine jacket. Octavo, 323pp., illustrated. Presumed first printing, with no statement of printing, and bottom of front jacket flap says 1/68; we've never seen an earlier date. A crisp, clean, near fine copy, appearing unread. The boards and the page block are all just very slightly curved; still a very nice example in a near fine dust jacket, presenting beautifully, with a single clear tape repair to the verso at the base of the spine. SIGNED and INSCRIBED by Thompson on the half-title page in the year of publication: "Best Wishes to Jeanette, Josiah Thompson Dec. 27, 1967." The only signed copy we've handled. A desirable copy of this important JFK assassination deep-dive, which eschews elaborate conspiracy theories, but nevertheless concludes based on witness testimony and physical evidence that more than one shooter was involved in the assassination.
