The thrown-together packaging doesn't exactly cry out that this is a legitimate Tom Jones collection, but the hits are here and they're in their original recordings. Plus, it goes all the way up to 1988's "Kiss" and features the man's more bluesy and heavier sides (many compilations just go for the camp) with tracks like "Detroit City" and "Mr. Helping Hand." There's some real oddball moments like the show tune-jaunty "Somethin' 'Bout You Baby I Like" and the better-off-sung-by-a-hippy "Resurrection Shuffle" and "The Young ...
