If we need to make our journey in life a success, then we need to avoid and run away from sinful pride. It does not profit a man to be as proud as Lucifer, or a king like Uzziah or Nebuchadnezzar in the Bible, or some proud men and women who are dead and gone, or some people in our world today who pride their lives to the extent that they see other fellow human beings as nothing. Indeed, if we want to be lifted up, we need to be humble enough to receive God's grace to see us through in the realization of our aspirations.
