Like C.S. Lewis did in his classic "Mere Christianity," Anglican bishop N.T. Wright makes the case for Christian faith from the ground up. His goal is to describe Christianity as simple and accessible, yet hopefully attractive and exciting.

This book gives you excellent understanding why someone is a Christian, or why someone might want to become a Christian. NT Wright does and excellent job in pointing out 4 voices that all humanity responds too; then he describes the God that made humanity, His chosen people, the savior he sent to them and the savior's people - the body. Then he talks about how our belief in God and His Son should affect our lives, motivate us to live for His glory. An excellent book. Well written - a VERY GOOD read!

A great introduction to Christianity
I would recommend this book to those who are interested in becoming a Christian, but don't have a good strong background in Christian study. Or even those Christians who feel they need a better background in the history of Christianity and why we believe what we do. I gave it to my sister to use in her young adult class in her church.
