These are the classics! To some these may seem childish and out of date. But remember, these were originally for children (unlike comics now). They are fun and campy and Superman is in his prime. If you were to try and buy all the originals, it would cost you thousands of dollars. The Hardbound collections in color are great, but again, very expensive at $50 a pop. Plus one of the hardbound editions has less issues than one of these softcover editions. It is unfortunate they are not in the original color, but I still gave it an excellent rate because of the price.
