This book contains the highs and lows, surprises and expected complications associated with rural life. Most of the animals thrived; a few, fortunately, a very few, didn't but on the whole it was a very positive experience ended mostly by our inevitable increasing ages and my severe physical problems that made it impossible to continue caring for the animals properly.
