Vietnam experience
This is a book of 'poetry' written by two women about their experiences in Vietnam. One is the wife of a media correspondent, the other is a Vietnamese woman. The poems are snippets of the thoughts of the correspondent's wife (Wendy Larsen)during her time in Southeast Asia and those of the Vietnamese woman's (Tran Thi Nga)life. The two women met in Vietnam. Ms. Larsen returned to the US and Ms Tran fled Saigon just before it fell to Communist led forces. A few of the 'poems' are about Ms. Tran's experiences in getting to and being processed in the U.S.
