Radford's book sexism and God-talk is understandably a landmark in feminist theology. Though the book is now old, its ideas are foundational, and much of current feminist theological work is clearly and firmly rooted in Radford's work. I found the chapter on "prophetic vision" and what it means for the church in terms of women, and liberation in general, to be particularly well stated, and her arguments very strong and compelling. On the other hand i found the opening of the book highly inventive and the history tailored to her needs, which for me was distracting at best. nevertheless the book is well worth reading, and if you were only going to read one book on this subject then this one would be it.
