What the city is today, is an amalgamation of all the events and the stories of the last few thousand years. It is an amalgamation of the stories, the sweat and tears of the men and women who have built this city. Photography today, in a similar vein, is an amalgamation of all the events, the experiments that have been carried out for the last (almost) two hundred years. The vintage processes of the past showed a continuous burst of creativity. The vintage processes live on today. In this book, I have photographed Seven Cities of Delhi, and have processed the images digitally in Photoshop, simulating many of the vintage processes.
