There are many kinds of service animals throughout the world, though mostly the dog is used. They range from emotional support animals to seizure dogs to guide miniature horses. Even monkeys have been involved in the service animal world. While there are many countries throughout the world that support the service animals and the people who need them, it is really a more recent thing and a lot of legislation involving them is hotly debated. However, on the whole, service animals perform a great service to the community and their individual owners.
