Tracks such as "Stalker" show that Covenant is capable of beat-driven synth music that retains the gravity of non-dance acts such as Laibach and the energy of the techno influence. Other tracks ("Feedback" and "Tabula Rasa") sport just enough engineered noise creeping in at the edges to provide a new dimension to the sound. The lyrics match the darkness of the sound in tone and content and, with all these elements combined, Sequencer may contain some of the best-realized Covenant material.
