Sebastian Williams is certainly an author with a great future in front of him if he keeps putting out work like this one, which as I understand it is his first published. His style is quite unique and he seems to have a passion for a little sarcasm in the right place, which gave this book a rather nice touch I thought. The main character, Sly, is evidently a criminal of some long standing. His reference to quite a few other terms in prison makes me skeptical of his claims of innocence in this case, but just the same the background and the story has been portrayed in such a rivetting manner that the book was hard to put down. Lots of little surprises and cliff hangers that make it far more appealing than all of the others I have read about the Thai criminal justice system and Thailand in general.
Sebastian has quite obviously put in a tremendous amount of research and investigation before writing this and he has linked it all together with such a lot of fine detail that one feels to be right in there looking out. I give him a top rating for this effort and hope to see more from him soon.

A really very horrific true story but brilliantly
I have spent quite some time in Thailand over the years and have read several of the books that have been written about the prison and criminal justice systems there. Most of them reveal the inherent barbarism, injustice and victimisation, but all were very short on real detail and as such not terribly gripping. Send Them To Hell is an exception however. The detail that has been included and the way it is written is brilliant, and gripping and suspenseful indeed it is to the last page. My congratulations go to Sebastian for a terrific job and I am eagerly looking fwd to his next book, Justice Incorporated, which, according to his webpage, will be released in October.

Terrifying reading but brilliantly composed
There have been quite a few book written about the terrible conditions and horrors that can be experienced within the Thai criminal justice system, most of them I have read and in general I found all but a couple to be wanting, and in several cases quite poorly written. However, I was most impressed with 'Send Them To Hell'. Not only is it brilliantly put together, the detail is incredible and made me feel like I was right there in the story looking out. A terrific read that I couldn't put down.
