Pages lightly toned. Illustrated with 36 portraits, 3 maps and 7 local scenes and landmarks in b/w. Brown cloth boards with dark brown leather spine, decorated and lettered in gilt. Corners bumped and worn to boards, small area of damage to foredge of rear board. Leather spine very scuffed and worn, splitting at lower front joint, chipped and frayed at lower spine. Hinges very good, binding cracked at pp. 240-241, but holding.
