Each volume in the series has a detailed index facilitating the rapid location of reaction types, synthetic procedures, or individual compounds. To date, the second edition of this series consists of 71 volumes and over 30,000 pages. Elsevier has recently published a cumulative index that covers all volumes, so the reader can easily access this valuable information. The series is continuing with a short series of topical volumes on emerging subjects that are not covered in the main volumes. The first two topical volumes will cover organic electrochemistry and asymmetric catalysis.
