Scripture and Truth is a collection of twelve essays by twelve authors on a variety of subjects related to the Word of God. The focus of each essay is in some way related to how a Christian should read, interpret, come to trust, etc. the Bible, which is the source of truth and the Gospel of our salvation. The level at which it is written will challenge those who don't like to think about what they read, but for those who are willing to actively engage the text (which thankfully steers clear of unnecessary jargon), they will be strengthened in their confidence that Scripture really is the inspired self-revelation of God. As such, readers should be better equipped to give a defense for why they trust the Bible as the rule and guide for their faithful life.
I would particularly recommend this book for seminary students, those considering seminary, and for small group study by those who want to learn more about how and why they can and should trust God's Word.
