I'm 1st year surgical resident. This book without doubt is the best in general surgery. It covers most important topic in general surgery, from basic to more spesific topics. In my country this books is a 'must have' even for surgical intern!

This book is an absolute must for anyone going into the field. Full of great images that correlate well with the text, provides info on everything from pathogenesis to a disease to the surgical techniques to info essential for proper management of patients with the disease. covers all subspecialties as well. a must have!
