None. Very Good Indeed in Good jacket. A smart first edition of Malins' 'Samuel Palmer's Italian Honeymoon'. Samuel Palmer (1805 1881) was a British landscape painter, etcher and printmaker. He was also a prolific writer. Palmer was a key figure in Romanticism in Britain and produced visionary pastoral paintings. Travelling to Italy provided him with the opportunity to "see the Virgil country and to absorb the neo-platonist thought of Michelangelo, Raphael, and Titian, as well as their supreme qualities as painters[...]" There are 20 plates throughout. In a green cloth binding with gilt lettering to spine and an unclipped dustwrapper. Externally excellent with minor shelfwear only. Dustwrapper generally smart with wear to the extremities. Internally firmly bound with very bright and clean pages throughout. Very Good Indeed.
