It would take one more CD (Victor Manuelle in 1996) to develop his loyal following. In any case, there are some good moments: the title tune, "Voy a Prometerme" (composed by the singer), and "Por Ejemplo" (by Pedro Azael) are reminders of his days with his former bandleader, the underrated Don Perignon.
