The most famous song here is "Sorry, Willie," as it has evolved into a launch pad of its own for various artists trying to summon the spirit of Willie Nelson. When it was originally recorded in 1960, neither Miller nor Nelson were household names, both struggling with their careers and the forces attempting to shape them into more conventional Nashville talent. Each of these tracks has an edge to it, and sometimes Miller packs himself into a box he doesn't exactly fit into.
