Great acting in a film that addresses the loneliness of old age and how one man deals with it. The story is fairly simple. An older man is starting to have memory problems so his adult son gives him a robot to tend to his needs. The older man, Frank, resents the robot and resists any attempts at help. Over time, he develops a kind of relationship with the robot. Frank Langella is outstanding as the older man.
