Large chip missing to top of spine, plus tear running to front cover. Dents and scratches to d/j, shelf worn and edgeworn especially at corners. Tear to bottom rear of d/j near spine. Some pages wavy, probably due to damp. Size: 4to-over 9¾"-12" tall.
Another wonderful book, illustrating the works of a brilliant artist. If you only have the remotest interest in art or aircraft, then you will find this book very difficult to put down. The colour plates are extremely well produced and the narrative provides excellent background details to their origins. Highly recommended reading.
