I believe that this book is probably an accurate view of the life of Margaret Mitchell. It was somewhat interesting and it certainly covered the material that came to be the basis of her novel, Gone with the Wind. She is not really an inspiring individual or a great writer but she did create a very interesting saga of southern life during the Civil War. Her characters are strong and they are what makes the story as inspiring as it was. I'm glad to know something about her but I don't think she should be considered as among the great authors.
