Christopher Lawrence's Rise mix for City of Angles put the stateside trance DJ on the map, setting the stage for his eventual deal with Moonshine Records. Released in 1997, this mix hit the streets just as trance was becoming popular in the States, back when it was a little more edgy and harsh than how it would sound a year or two later.
