Seller's Description:
Very Good. The uncorrected proof--in galleys--of the 1974 1st American edition of Celine's "Rigadoon". Solid and VG in its tall, light-blue wrappers, with offsetting to the panels and a grease-pen date from the publisher at the front panel. Uncommon in this pre-publication format.

Seller's Description:
FINE in NEAR FINE jacket. First Edition, First Printing with publisher's review slip and promotional photograph. 12mo, mustard yellow cloth with gilt and brown stamped covers. Small spot of glue to the top edge, likely from the publisher, exceedingly clean and fresh otherwise with sharp edges and tight binding; DJ spine just faintly sunned, crisp and clean aotherwise with price of 8.95 intact. The final novel from the controversial French author, a 'charlatan, racist, and Nazi collaborator' (from the DJ flap) who was one of the foremost French writers at the time of his death in 1961 and regarded as forerunner by Vonnegut, 'A great liberator' by Philip Roth' (FWIW) and 'A great writer and a great man' by Henry Miller (again, FWIW).
