while this has the usual wit, colorful characters, busted plans, that he's known for, there are some questionable acts. why would Bobbly Deo carry a gun in a bag, and then expect to be in gunlight with Raylan? And then there's Leonard's recurring motif (carryover from his westerns, probably why he created Raylan in first place) that ALL bad guys are caught up in old West trope of face-to-face gun duel, which I highly doubt. I'm surprised he hasn't had Asian character want to do gunlight; this unlikely fantasy gets tiresome, because unlikely. Most contemporary criminals are mose likely to watch Scarface than Shane, and not get obsessed with one-on-one when they can just Glock them
