Research Highlights in Technology and Teacher Education is now in its sixth year of publication, and has become one of the most important publications of the Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education (SITE). This series of books represent the best of the scholarship offered at the SITE international conference, this year held in Jacksonville, Florida and featuring about 1000 scholars and educators from nearly 60 countries. Only a select set of articles, from the broad array of papers presented at the SITE conference, are accepted for publication in Research Highlights. To be considered for publication, a submission must first be accepted for presentation at the conference as a "full paper" and then designated for consideration as a potential article for the Research Highlights collection. At that point, an even more rigorous review commences. While still a relatively "new" publication, Research Highlights is already one of the most viewed in the extensive holdings of the AACE digital library (EdITLib). The articles in this edition are guided and nurtured by a very strong team of editors. Articles in categories of TPACK, Assessment, Research and Teacher Education represent the four overarching themes of this year's offering. Notably, a third of the articles this year are authored by scholars outside the U.S. In many ways, this publication reflects the healthy state of an organization that is increasingly recognized as an international leader in the intersecting fields of learning technologies and teacher education. As SITE celebrates its 25th anniversary, a publication representing such a rich and important scholarship is an important achievement.
