My book, Required Reading, Vol. I, includes all of Shakespeare's tragedies, plus three other of his noteworthy plays. American Literature occupies a prominent place in the book, with interpretations of seven novels and two plays. With respect to comparative literature, I have included Beowulf, The Canterbury Tales, and Animal Farm.
